Doesn’t work on my computer. Windows 10 gives an error when plugging it in. Plenty of empty suggestions by M-Audio on their forums and none work for most people. Some people found it works in USB 2. It works on my wife’s old mac so it gets two starts because I actually really like it when it works. It’s really small and compact which is what I need in my cluttered workspace.

I have a joystick from about 15 years ago that still plug and plays perfectly on my new windows 10 build, but not this guy. It comes with the cable, the manual, an ignite activation card and the quickstart manual. The only drawback probably is that it uses the mini, not the more popular micro usb type that is part of most android based phones and nearly all modern electronics. Love its plug and play, the range is just good, and the size is even better, you can pack it very easily into a school backpack without even the need for a separate case.

It has rubber feet that lets it stay on the surface and has got interesting confiuration options. The sustain has a mode in which you can press it very much like you would press or use a sustain pedal.

That is, it sustains the notes when the button is pressed and as soon as you depress it the notes stop being sustained. This and much more comes in the user guide by the way. Its overall sturdy and the feel on the keys even though a bit awkward to play because they are smaller just like the Irig is great.

I like these keys more than the IRig ones. Velocity curves are nicely thought. Verified Purchase. This is a great keyboard and I really like it. Especially for a person that is new to MIDI keyboards. It works well and has lots of functionality. The only complaint I have is similar to other people’s complaint. Sometimes it seems really hard to get to full velocity on the keys. Running a velocity meter it seems like really banging on the keys gets me too around a but if I really pound the keys I can get to a full Not a huge deal for me as I can adjust for that in my Daw.

Overall, I’m really happy with it and would recommend it. At first this was a great keyboard for composing on the go. I would plug it into my laptop and use it to speed up note input or just use it with a freestanding midi piano to compose with pencil and paper. One day, I tried plugging it into my phone and it worked!
